The church is situated 1 mile north of the village of Finchdean, 2.3 miles east of Horndean and 2.5 miles north of Rowlands Castle which is the nearest railway station.
Travelling south from Petersfield on the A3, take the left turn sign-posted to Chalton.
On entering the village, keep left and follow the road for approx 2 miles. Idsworth Church is on your left opposite Heberdens Farm.
